Terms of Use

These terms govern use of TidyLume. The software and original product materials are owned by Abdullah Yilmaz.

License

A valid TidyLume Pro purchase grants one individual a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and use the software on up to three personally controlled Macs. The license does not transfer ownership of the software or source code. The free plan is subject to the usage allowance displayed in the app.

Purchases and delivery

Lemon Squeezy acts as merchant of record. Prices, taxes, payment, receipts, license delivery, refunds and checkout-specific terms are handled by Lemon Squeezy. A license is activated using the key delivered after a successful purchase. Do not share or publish a license key.

Updates and support

Updates and support are provided for the purchased product while made available for that license. No particular future feature, release date or uninterrupted availability is promised unless expressly stated at checkout. Major future products may be offered separately.

User-approved cleanup

TidyLume presents files for review and does not automatically select or permanently delete them. You decide what to clean. Normal cleanup moves selected items to the macOS Trash. You are responsible for reviewing selections, keeping appropriate backups and deciding when to empty the Trash.

System requirements and permissions

The current release requires an Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 14 or later. Some categories require Full Disk Access because macOS protects those locations. You may deny or revoke that permission, but related scan results may then be incomplete.

Restrictions

Except where applicable law expressly permits otherwise, you may not redistribute, sublicense, resell, rent, publish license keys, bypass license controls, reverse engineer, or use TidyLume unlawfully. You may not use the product or branding in a way that suggests endorsement by Apple or another third party.

© 2026 Abdullah Yilmaz. All rights in the TidyLume software, source code, original design, documentation, website content and branding are reserved. Apple, macOS and related marks belong to Apple Inc. Other third-party marks belong to their respective owners.

Warranty and liability

The software is provided with the care reasonably expected of a commercial software product. Results depend on the files, permissions and system state of each Mac. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights. Subject to those rights, liability for ordinary negligence is limited to foreseeable loss arising from breach of an essential contractual duty.

Suspension and termination

A license may be suspended or terminated for material breach, fraud, chargeback abuse, unlawful use or unauthorized distribution. Termination does not affect rights that must survive by law. You may stop using the software and remove it at any time.

Applicable law

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, mandatory protections and jurisdiction rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
